It is a pain indeed but as far as I know the report addin dies not work on shared mailboxes in outlook on windows. It dies however work using OWA but that is in most cases not a proper solution. The main reason I find is that this comes from the design of outlook and Hou it Handel's plugins and shared mailboxes.
