WebYou will want 3 6+2(PCIe) cables for the GPU. Like you said though, the adapter plugs into the GPU and then your extensions plug into that. Unless you buy even more custom cables meant specifically for the 40 series you can’t avoid that ugly cable hanging off the card. As for the wires themselves, AWG16 is better so no problem there.
